How to Update your Galaxy S5 with Custom ROMs using CWM Recovery:- In the first place, you have to download the custom ROM firmware file on your computer;
- Place these files on your computer;
- Install CWM recovery on your Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini;
- After that, you have to connect your Galaxy S5 Mini device with your computer by using the original USB cable;
- Transfer the downloaded files from your computer to your smartphone’s SD card;
- Unplug the USB cable and disconnect the handset;
- Enter recovery mode on your Galaxy S5 Mini;
- Select “wipe data factory reset” from recovery;
- Also select “wipe cache partition”;
- After that, choose “advance” followed by “wipe dalvick cache”;
- Return to recovery and select “install zip from SD card” and then “choose zip from SD card”.
- Then select the Android firmware file and flash the update on your Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini;
- Also install the Google Apps package by repeating the step from above;
- Go back to recovery and from main menu select “reboot system now”.
That was all! You have just updated your Samsung Galaxy S5 Min with Android custom ROMs using CWM recovery!
